Help Desk

Help Desk is designed to assist AUBG computer users to deal with computer problems. It is situated in the OCC office, Room 118, where you can submit your request or call the office receptionist at ext. 300. If there is no answer wait until your call is being transferred to the OCC Administrative Assistant, to whom you can explain your problem or leave a message for further contact. In general, you can call Help desk to report computer troubles within AUBG, which are registered by the Help Desk receptionist and given a case number. Due to the difference of range and nature of computer problems, OCC classifies computer troubles grading them depending on the level of importance and urgency.

  • Problems that make users unable to proceed with their work are classified as urgent. As a rule they cause interruption of work and no way to go on without professional interference.
  • Other problems are the so-called “Personal troubles”. They can be solved by the user himself/ herself because they require core computer skills known by the user.

OCC also help users with software and hardware installations but they require more thorough work.
You can register and explain your problem by calling the Help Desk receptionist at ext. 300, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on business days. You can also register your problem by e-mail at help@aubg.bg, which will be followed by a reply informing you about the case number relevant to your request. E-mailing is a convenient way to keep track of the status of problems until it is given an OK status. You will be asked to fill in the Help Request Form. You are also welcome to OCC where you can submit a filled-in Trouble Form with a detailed explanation of the problem and your coordinates for direct contact so that OCC could judge about the level of urgency of your problem and contact you to make further arrangements.
